PLR stands for Private Label Rights and is basically a way of purchasing pre written content and being able to edit it to make it your own.
There are hundreds of sites online that will sell you anything from one article to a whole package of articles in as many niches as you can possibly think of. Purchasing them is in my opinion very cheap. You can buy a package of 10 for $4, obviously some are more expensive depending on the site and the package. Many sites will also send you free samples in exchange for your email address.
There are several that run affiliate programs so that you can promote their packages and earn from your sales.
So How Can Purchasing Them Help You?
Well we all know as bloggers and website owners that writing content is not easy and it is hugely time consuming. Google favours those that blog or put out content on a regular basis, so we have to do it.
Sometimes we just don’t have the time, sometimes we get writers block…. we have all been there !
Now many bloggers will find themselves a trusted writer through platforms like Fiverr to help them out with this content problem. However, finding the right one can take time and you usually have to provide them with titles and keywords. The more you give them the better the content you will get back obviously. Many bloggers themselves, have a side hustle of content writing for others. There are some people whose whole career is content writing for other people’s blogs and websites.
This is obviously not going to come cheaply. The going rate for a 1000 word article is around……
If you don’t have the budget for this and you know putting out more content, than you actually have time for, will improve your site, rankings and earnings, then maybe PLR is your answer.
Things You Need To Know
-
If you have bought an article or articles on a whim and it’s really cheap, you might be disappointed with the content. Not necessarily but there is a chance.
-
It is better to buy from a site that comes recommended or that will send you samples.
-
If you have bought it, then other people will have bought it too. This throws up the problem of duplicate content which Google hates.
